The Scope and Items:
LeQun Sub-district is 27hectares in area with 190 existing
buildings; its length is 478 meters from east to west
and 650 meters from north to south. The items are:
a. Have the buildings that block landscape pulled down
b. Underground wires tubes reconstruction
c. Repairs on drives and pavement
d. Adjust the elevation surfaces of the buildings (including
placards)
e. Green belt and tree planting
f. Public facilities reconstruction
g. Housing estate development
h. LeQun Marketplace & its adjacent parts reconstruction
¢ò. Plan of reconstruction
It plans to build LeQun sub-district into a housing estate,
tourist and commercial service complex by pulling down
old building and building new ones, adjusting elevation
surfaces of buildings, joining small streets and alleyways,
reconstructing roads and public facilities, putting housing
estate under unified management.
The key point is the reconstruction of LeQun Marketplace
& its adjacent parts. It shall widen the market by
east and west by moving GuiXi Elementary School and dormitories
under Guilin Medical College in which a comprehensively
functional market with office buildings, restaurants,
housing estates, parking lots and stores is built.
¢ó. Investment Estimation
The reconstruction of LeQun Market shall be carried out
in two stages. It is estimated that the first stage investment
is 193million yuan, of which XiuFeng District Government
shall invest 45 million yuan.
¢ô. Preliminary work
XiuFeng District Government has drafted ¡°The Proposal
on Implementation of LeQun Sub-district Reconstruction
Program ¡± and set up a engineering command to coordinate
the project.
¢õ. Background to parties
Due to multiple-party involvement in the project, XiuFeng
District Government shall be sole party of the project.
