Scenic Area and West Hill Scenic Area. Total areas are
11.88 square kilometers (1.8km between east and west,
6.6km between south and north).
3¡¢Construction Necessity: To
make full use of Guilin¡¯s scenery resources to develop
a large-scale and multi-functional tourist resort with
international standard will change the unitary structure
of tourism in Guilin, improve the grades of tourist products,
strengthen the tourist competition ability in the world,
contribute to build Guilin to a modern international tourist
city and help to build Guangxi to a famous tourist province.
4¡¢Present construction conditions:
The development conditions are superior: There are hills,
water, caves, rural scenery, cultural relics and other
tourist resources including the Limestone Formation structure
in the are. It also shares the background of the Grand
Guilin Tourist Are with four outskirt scenic areas and
eight outer suburb scenic areas Guilin is a well-known
city in the world. The future of the tourist market developing
is splendid. The formation and geological structure are
good. For its close distance to downtown, basic facilities
like road, running water, drainage, electricity and communication
systems are convenient to get and be accessed.
5¡¢Construction Contents and Scales:
Program eight main functional districts: Southern Service
Center, Religious Culture Section, Entertainment Section,
Sports Section, Northern Service Center, Culture Section,
Folk Custom Culture Section, Leisure Section, Reservation
Section, Forestation Section. The land of 534 hectares
is available for the architecture and building of 540,000
square meters.
